"Mean Mugs and Wendy's Cups"

I've posted about Maddie before, but she's one of the best characters in my life. I've known her since the 4th grade and we've stayed close ever since. There is something so fun and draw-able about her (the one in the red sweatshirt).

A drawing from the as-yet-to-be started graphic novel.

Back from the dead.

Two new pieces for a group show for Rotopol Press in Kassel, Germany.

Posts have been lacking due to school, I apologize.
A lot more work is on the way, more pen and ink. I find myself working in my favorite brush pen in class, when I should be taking notes.

Until next time, heres a Flickr for Rotopol's last few shows.

It is insanely HOT in Seattle! Upper 90's! This never happens, and I've decided to stay inside and scan a few of the pieces I'm sending off to a groupshow in LA this next week at the Ronin Gallery.
It's a black and white theme, but I couldn't resist adding one pop of color. I hope they don't throw these out.

Resorts and blogsorts.

Off to Sunriver, Oregon with my pops for a few days. We're continuing on the state hospital assoc. convention circuit. This time it's Oregon state and we're comemorating, what, 75 years in a chalkboard mural.

In the meantime, check Spike Jonze's blog. He mentioned me. Scroll down a few.

More people in animal costumes.

I think it's time I get back into painting backgrounds, or experimenting with different toned paper. Trying to balance the white and keep the image intact sucks.

THINK - FAESTHETIC!

Got a great write-up in the Think-Faest blog/magazine from UPSO.

Check it.
