More cards for birthdays.

My sister asked me to do a card for her boyfriend, Sean.

I'm thinking of putting together a little set of cards and getting them printed and selling them through an Etsy shop. Maybe?

You Rule!

I've taken a much needed breather from my usual break-neck work pace to soak up some sun (Seattle gets about 4 weeks of actual heat), hang with my friends and family for many back yard barbeques.
This also means some light doodling and fun personal projects, like this "You Rule!" card for artist Irene Wood. Her show of paintings opens tonight at Victrola. Her work can be seen here as well as her amazing jewelry.

Next up are a lot of commissions, album artwork, a zine for Pikaland and a trip to New York.
Stay tuned!

Patterns of Renewal work

More work from the Patterns of Renewal series.
Note: First and last have sold.

Balkan Sugar Skulls

The opening for Patterns of Renewal at Seattle's Pun(c)tuation Gallery was a huge success. Lots of friends, family and hundreds more strangers came out on July 16th. Actual photos of the show to come soon (all I have are party pics). Until then, here is a set of four skulls:

All priced, framed, at $125.

Patterns of Renewal sneak peak

I've been working away during a flash heatwave in Seattle, and my hands are sweating as I type this. I probably didn't need to add that, but here's a peak into the solo show "Patterns of Renewal" which opens this Friday the 16th at 8pm at Pun(c)tuation gallery. Press release to follow...

This last piece was inspired not by KISS or metal music in general (though it seems to be good working music) but Bulgarian Kukeri festival masks. Google it now!
